Three Programmes · Bangkok · Adults 40+
Programmes built around what you actually need to read.
Each programme targets one skill area — reading, saving, or drawing down. All three are delivered in small groups, in person, at our Din Daeng studio.
Back to HomeHow we approach each programme
The same principles run through all three workshops.
Every Nakhon Advisors programme begins with real documents — not invented examples or oversimplified analogies. Participants work through actual annual reports, real saving frameworks, and genuine drawing-down literature under the facilitator's guidance. The role of the facilitator is to annotate, explain, and slow down — not to present and move on.
Sessions are structured but not rigid. When a question arises that is better addressed now than at the end, we stop and address it. When a concept needs a second pass, we take the time. Printed materials are provided for each session so participants leave with something to return to between meetings and after the programme concludes.
Programme 1 · 2 Sessions
Reading the Annual Report
A two-session workshop on the patient skill of reading annual reports from companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The facilitator walks through a representative report line by line — the chairman's letter, the financial statements, the notes, and the risk disclosures — discussing what to look for and what to set aside. The aim is fluency rather than recommendation; no specific securities are discussed. A printed reference card is provided.
What participants work through:
- The chairman's letter — what it signals and what it avoids
- The income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement
- Notes to the accounts — where important details are often placed
- Risk disclosures and what they indicate about management priorities
- The annotated reference card — taken home after session two
Session structure:
Session one: Structure of a Thai-listed company's annual report; the chairman's letter and financial statements. Printed materials distributed.
Session two: Notes, risk disclosures, and common patterns. Annotated reference card completed and distributed.
Programme fee
฿5,350

Programme 2 · 4 Sessions
The Calm Saver's Programme
A four-session evening programme dedicated to the patient practice of saving — household saving, retirement saving, and the saving habits that often need re-examining at 40+. The facilitator draws on Thai household examples and offers a printed worksheet for participants to map their own saving rhythm. The pace is gentle; participants are encouraged to reflect rather than act during the programme itself.
Areas covered across four sessions:
- Household saving structures and where they tend to unravel at 40+
- Retirement saving — how much and what shape it takes in Thai households
- Saving habits worth reconsidering mid-career
- The printed saving rhythm worksheet — worked through during session three
- Reading provident fund statements with greater ease
Session structure:
Session one: Household saving at 40+ — patterns and common points of concern.
Session two: Retirement saving frameworks and Thai provident fund context.
Session three: Completing the saving rhythm worksheet with facilitator guidance.
Session four: Reviewing the worksheet; habits worth modifying; questions and close.

Programme 3 · 4 Sessions
Considered Drawing-Down
A small-group programme of four sessions for adults in their late fifties and early sixties who are considering how to draw on accumulated savings over the years ahead. The facilitator walks through several frameworks discussed in long-standing literature, alongside the local context of Thai pensions, provident funds, and family arrangements. Each participant produces a personal one-page drawing-down framework that they can revisit as circumstances change.
Frameworks and topics covered:
- Established drawing-down frameworks from personal finance literature
- Thai Government Pension Fund, Social Security Fund, and provident fund drawdown rules
- Family arrangements and their interaction with personal savings plans
- Sequencing different income sources over time
- Personal one-page drawing-down framework — produced in session four
Session structure:
Session one: Established drawing-down frameworks — how they work and their assumptions.
Session two: Thai pension and provident fund rules; what applies to each participant's situation.
Session three: Family arrangements, income sequencing, and adjustment over time.
Session four: Producing the personal one-page framework; questions and close.
